Ethereum Holds Majority Share of $349B Tokenized Asset and Stablecoin Market

TL;DR

  • Ethereum controls 53.2% of the $349.2 billion onchain market, with $185.8 billion across tokenized assets and stablecoins.
  • Tron follows with $94.2 billion, while Solana ranks third at $18.2 billion as activity expands across 50 blockchain networks.
  • Holder numbers and DeFi TVL continue to grow, signaling broader adoption even as decentralized exchange volume falls sharply over the past 30 and 90 days.

Ethereum continues to dominate the $349.2 billion tokenized asset and stablecoin market, reinforcing its position as the largest blockchain for onchain financial assets. Data from Token Terminal shows that assets across 50 networks reached $349.2 billion on October 5, with Ethereum accounting for more than half of the total.

The market grew 0.6% over the past 30 days and 1.1% over 90 days. At the same time, the number of holders climbed to 315.5 million, increasing 3.3% over 30 days and 11.2% over 90 days. These figures point to continued expansion in onchain ownership despite more subdued trading activity.

Ethereum Leads As Onchain Finance Expands

Ethereum held $185.8 billion, representing a 53.2% market share. Tron followed with $94.2 billion, equivalent to 27.0%, while Solana ranked third with $18.2 billion and a 5.2% share.

BNB Chain accounted for $9.3 billion, followed by HyperEVM at $7 billion. Base reached $5.2 billion, while Arbitrum One recorded $4.7 billion. Stellar and XRP Ledger each held close to $4 billion, demonstrating that tokenized financial products are spreading across a growing range of networks.

DeFi activity also expanded. Associated total value locked reached $28.7 billion, equal to 8.2% of the combined market. TVL increased 7.8% over 30 days and 26.7% over 90 days, suggesting that more tokenized assets are becoming integrated into decentralized financial applications.

Ethereum controls 53.2% of the $349.2 billion onchain market, with $185.8 billion across tokenized assets and stablecoins.

Stablecoins And RWAs Strengthen Blockchain Adoption

Decentralized exchange volume presents a different picture. Twenty-four-hour DEX volume stood at $3.5 billion, but declined 58.2% over 30 days and 28.4% over 90 days. The contrast suggests that ownership and financial infrastructure can continue developing even when speculative trading slows.

Growth is also visible in tokenized real-world assets, although those figures exclude stablecoins. Token Terminal reported $46 billion in RWAs across 35 chains on September 24. Ethereum represented $22.2 billion, or 48.4% of that market, followed by BNB Chain at $5.5 billion and Stellar at $3.3 billion.
